Zero Labs Automotive

The vehicles

Each Zero Labs vehicle began as an original factory classic and left our Los Angeles studio as a complete electric vehicle, with new architecture, engineering and craftsmanship throughout. They are past programs, shown here as evidence of what our team can design, engineer and build.

Where Zero Labs Automotive stands today

Zero Labs Automotive concluded all manufacturing and ceased operations at the end of 2024. The design and engineering experience behind these vehicles now carries forward at ZLABS, which applies it to products for other companies. The vehicles shown here are past programs and are no longer offered for sale.

Engineered in detail

Every system in a Zero Labs vehicle was designed, specified and integrated by the same team. These are the details that made each build feel complete.

Chassis

A new precision-made, TIG-welded chassis with sway bars front and rear and engineered independent front and rear suspension.

Battery and thermal management

85 or 100 kWh, 400V lithium-ion packs with full-time cooling, safety monitoring and multiple emergency disconnects. Each pack was centered for weight balance and designed to be replaced or upgraded as the technology improves.

Drive units

A 300 HP single-motor rear-wheel-drive configuration or a 600 HP dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration, with digital torque control to the front and rear axles and regenerative braking.

Controls

Full automatic control behind the look and feel of a classic shifter, plus an original-style digital transfer case shifter that electronically controls power to the front and rear axles.

Suspension and brakes

Adjustable Fox Racing shocks, coil-over or computer-controlled air ride, and Brembo GT brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers.

Interiors

Interiors were hand-cut, sewn and fitted in aerospace-grade leather or animal-free alternatives, with handmade wood panels and power, heated seating.

Custom metalwork

Polished CNC-milled 6061-T6 aluminum, clear anodized or custom nickel-plated, for switchgear, bezels and brightwork.

Finish and protection

Modern solid, metallic or factory-matched vintage colors from Sikkens or PPG, with anti-rust treatment and a LineX underbody coating.
