BRIEF HISTORY

Land Rover Series II/III 109

Original production from 1966-1977.

The Land Rover Series 109, produced from 1966 to 1977, was a rugged and iconic off-road vehicle known for its versatility and durability. It was an extended version of the Series II and Series III Land Rovers, featuring a 109-inch wheelbase. The Series 109 came in various body styles, including station wagons, pickups, and even military configurations. It was powered by a range of inline-four and inline-six engines, depending on the model and year. These vehicles were renowned for their exceptional off-road capabilities, making them popular choices for both civilian and military use. The Series 109 played a significant role in Land Rover's history and remains a classic in the world of off-road vehicles.
